Troubleshooting

  • No Hot Water

Please check if the water heater panel in the changing room is powered on. (If the temperature is displayed, it is on.)

If the water heater is not powered on, the gas meter may have stopped. Please follow the steps below to restore it.

    1. Turn off all gas appliances (fan heater, underfloor heating, hot water, BBQ).

    2. Press the black reset button on the gas meter.

    3. The display will show text and the red light will blink.

    4. Wait for about 1-2 minutes.

    5. Once the blinking text and red light disappear, the system is restored.

  • Location of the gas meter (marked with ★ on the diagram).

  • No Internet Connection

If you’re unable to use the Wi-Fi, please try the following:

    1. Check if the router and modem are properly plugged in.

    1. Location of the router and modem: Inside the white box in the closet of the second-floor Japanese room.

    • 2. Unplug the router and modem, wait for 2 minutes, and then plug them back in.

    • 3. Check that all the wires are securely connected to the devices.

    • 4. From the device settings, delete the relevant network information, disable Wi-Fi, and then reconnect.

    • 5. Restart your smartphone or device.

    • 6. If you still can’t connect after trying the above steps, there may be an issue with the router. Please contact us via the message feature on the booking site.

  • Power Outage

Due to heavy rain or earthquakes, power outages may occur. Additionally, using multiple electrical devices simultaneously may cause the breaker to trip.

If the power goes out during your stay, please first check the breaker.

Breaker Location: On the shelf above the sofa (near the stairs).

If the breaker switch is in the “off” position, please raise the lever to the “on” position.

If the breaker is on but the power is still out, it could be a power outage. If the lights in other rooms are also out and the neighboring area is dark, it’s likely a power outage. Leave the breaker on and wait for the power to be restored.

  • False Alarm of Smoke Detector

If the smoke detector goes off by mistake, you can stop the sound from the control panel located next to the stairs.

Pull the red square section towards you to open the control panel.

Press the sound stop button in the red square, then press the reset button in the green square.

  • Fire

In the unlikely event of a fire during your stay, inform your companions and check on everyone’s safety. If the fire can be quickly extinguished, use the fire extinguisher for initial suppression.

  • Steps to take in case of a fire:

    1. Alert everyone loudly.

    2. If the fire is small, extinguish it; if not, immediately call 119.

    3. Assist others (help those with disabilities or those caught in smoke).

    4. Escape (if the fire reaches the ceiling, evacuate immediately).

To avoid inhaling smoke, cover your nose and mouth with a wet towel or mask, keep low, and escape outside. If going down is not possible, escape horizontally. Smoke rises, so never go upwards.

If possible, close doors behind you to prevent the spread of the fire by cutting off the airflow. If reaching the exit is difficult, escape through a window.

  • How to use the fire extinguisher:

    1. Pull the safety pin.

    2. Aim the nozzle at the source of the fire.

    3. Squeeze the lever firmly.

If you realize you’ve forgotten something in the room after leaving, please contact us via message. The cleaning staff will check. If the lost item is found, we will mail it to you with cash on delivery.

*Please note that if we do not hear from you within one week after your check-out date, the item will be discarded without further notice.

*Items like umbrellas or towels, which are deemed inexpensive, will be discarded without prior notice. Thank you for your understanding.
